Molly Moorhead is a Certified Financial Planner who joined The Penny Hoarder in 2019 after a 20-year career in newspapers. In her journalism career, she was a reporter, editor and editorial writer, and wrote for the national fact-checking website PolitiFact, rating the accuracy of political claims and covering the 2012 presidential election. Her work has been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists and the Florida Society of News Editors. She's been a regular TV guest on news and political shows and spoken on panels about journalism and women in media. She graduated from the University of Florida.
